      Plan Demand & Supply

      VS-90.10

Agree one number for what will be sold and what will be made, and balance it against capacity and material supply.

    2. 02

      Schedule Production

      VS-90.20

Translate the plan into a master schedule, explode it into material and capacity requirements, and sequence the work on each line.

    3. 03

      Procure & Stage Materials

      VS-90.30

Order what the schedule needs, receive it and move it to the point of use before the line is waiting for it.

    4. 04

      Execute Production

      VS-90.40

Run the work orders on the shop floor, keep the equipment running and react to the schedule changes that always come.

    5. 05

      Control Quality

      VS-90.50

Inspect and test in line and at the end, hold what fails, and fix the process rather than only the part.

    6. 06

      Record & Book to Stock

      VS-90.60

Record what was produced, consumed and scrapped, capture traceability and put the finished goods into inventory at cost.

    7. 07

      Review Performance

      VS-90.70

Compare the run with the plan on output, yield, cost and downtime, and feed the gaps into the improvement system.
