    Meter-to-Cash

    Turn meter reads and interval data into validated usage, regulated bills and payment, with arrangements and protections for customers who cannot pay. Where Usage-to-Bill (VS-160) rates communications usage, this stream adds validation, approved tariffs and disconnection rules; receipt and collections follow the cross-industry capabilities, as in VS-20.

      Gather reads and interval data from the meter network and field reading, and chase the meters that did not report.

      Check every read, estimate what is missing, correct what is wrong and hand billing usage it can trust.
