Capability Map
GL-020 · also Business Capability Model, Capability Model
A one-page arrangement of an organization's Business Capabilities, usually grouped by domain and layered by level, used as a shared vocabulary for strategy, investment and architecture decisions.
A capability map that mirrors the org chart breaks at the next reorganization. This catalog ships a reference map to start from; your own map adds the scores and ownership only you can supply.
