    Business Architecture

    GL-180 · also BA, BizArch

The discipline that models what an organization does and how it creates value, using capabilities, value streams, information, organization units and strategy, so business and technology decisions share one frame.

Business architecture describes the business, not the IT systems that support it. Within enterprise architecture it is the layer the application and technology views point back to.
