Technology Lifecycle

The stages a technology or version moves through in an organization, from emerging and approved through contained and retiring to retired, used to steer new use and plan replacement.
Two lifecycles meet here: the vendor's support dates and the organization's own adoption status. Track both; a supported product can still be one you are moving away from.
