Master Data
GL-300 · also Master Data Management
The core shared records an organization runs on, such as customers, products, suppliers, employees and locations, that many processes and systems reuse and must agree on.
Distinct from transactional data such as orders and from reference data such as country codes, though master data programs usually govern reference data too.
